Lost Treasure Tony Thomas returns to Soma with a fantastic three tracker of funky tribal house music. Tony is on a roll right now and you will most likely find one of his first rate recordings in the boxes of a cross section of DJ’s. Currently house, techno and progressive spinners love his tribal grooves. Tony is a very busy man and one the most respected and prolific house music producers on the scene right now. This is his third release on Soma and they just keep getting better. On the A Side ‘Tight Rope’ is classic Tony Thomas – a rolling conga driven groove is underpinned with sci-fi chants and jungle funk, this firing cut is sure to please lovers of Tony’s style. Keeping the tribal feel is the equally excellent ‘Call of the Ancients’ with its big driving bassline and African chants. Finally ‘Lost Treasure’ is in the same vein but with a more melodic dubby feel. All in all this is a great package from a great producer.
