Mfon
Biography
Mfon Akpan joined the Soma stable after his buddy Gene Farris recommended that he send us some tracks. He duly reponded to his friend's request, and the rest is Soma history. The first release on Soma was the discofied "Ron Hardy's Resurrection" (Soma 72) which entered into the DJ Magazine Hype Chart.
At the beginning of 1999 Mfon relocated from his home town of Chicago to Norway. Soma 84 "Dance of the Drunk Mantis" was his second Soma release and was another Chicago twisted disco stormer, which came with a Studio 54 remix.
Mfon also produces material for Strictly Rhythm.
